Please consider supporting Kappella Kyrie Slavic Chamber Choir in preparation for its upcoming May 10th, 2025 concert at the Winspear Centre, entitled “Blending of Sounds.” This world premiere concert of Ukrainian composer Myroslav Volynsky’s cantata Господні терези (Hospodni terezy) for choir, orchestra, and soloists shares the passion that makes Ukrainian Canadian music so beautiful. In an attempt to mitigate the impacts of last year’s four-week Canada Post mail delivery stoppage and its negative effects on charities, the Department of Finance and the Canada Revenue Agency are extending the 2024 charitable tax deadline to February 28th, 2025. This allows you to donate this month and claim this donation on either your 2024 or 2025 income tax filing.
